Kristen Bell is now used to being pregnant, but she just can’t wrap her head around giving birth!
In a recent interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the expecting House of Lies star opens up about her fears of poppin’ out a baby.
“I feel like when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back. And I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it’s over, because I’ve seen the videos and it looks terrifying,” she admits.
And while the 32-year-old might be freaking out about childbirth, her fiancé Dax Shepard is eager to start getting to know their little boy or girl.
“He is [excited],” she says of the Parenthood star. “In different ways than I am. He’s just thinking about all the off-roading he’ll have in this tiny partner.”
Ellen kept telling Kristen that it sounded like she would be having a boy, but the actress wouldn’t confirm the sex of the baby even though she does know it —and that the little lady or lad is due at the end of spring.
“Do you have to be a boy off-road? Absolutely not,” Kristen says. “I think he’s going to force [the baby], even if it’s a slot, to off-road.”
Since announcing her big news in November, the starlet has been very open about her pregnancy.
“I am currently quite a bit overweight,” she joked during a Dec. 12 radio interview. “I’m pretty far [into pregnancy]. I’m about 367 pounds. I’m not sure how far that is in months, but in pounds, that’s where I’m weighing in.”
