From Real Housewives to husbands who are currently doing time for fraud at the same federal prison in Fort Dix, N.J., Phaedra Parks and Teresa Giudice have a lot in common. Now, in an exclusive interview with In Touch, Phaedra shares the advice she gave to Teresa and reveals that they’ve even discussed the idea of taking their families to the prison for a joint visit!

“We discussed that! It would be wonderful to do it because then my boys could interact with her girls and everyone would be occupied,” Phaedra reveals. On helping Teresa cope, she explains, “I just told her she has to take care of herself, her daughters and, most importantly, her health. Her girls need her now more than ever.”

Like Teresa, Phaedra is left to raise her sons Ayden, 5, and Dylan, 2, while her husband serves an eight-year prison sentence he began in 2014 for bank fraud and identity theft. She adds, “I lost my spouse and my children lost the father they saw daily.”

Though the future of their six-year marriage is up in the air (she’s previously announced she’ll be filing for divorce), the entertainment attorney wants her kids to remain close to their dad. “I would never do anything to keep them away.”
