Last year, Paul Walker made a life-changing decision to take a hiatus from acting so he could spend more time with his daughter Meadow — a plan that couldn’t be carried out because of the actor’s untimely death last November.
“Paul was planning on taking a break from starring in movies, and stepping away from Hollywood, to spend more time with Meadow,” the late star’s father, Paul Sr., recently revealed.

“He was so proud of her, she is incredibly intelligent and beautiful, and Paul wanted to be there for her as she grew up. In fact, he would’ve swapped his Hollywood fame for the quiet life with Meadow. Paul wasn’t big on fame and preferred to live modestly. But he signed on for the ‘Agent 47’ movie about a hit man, and it was already agreed that if it was successful there would be three further movies made.”

Meadow’s grandfather went on to say that his son “was bored of the car thing” and expressed a new interest in one of his former passions.
“He actually told me, before he died, that he had rediscovered the ocean and had taken up surfing again,” Paul Sr. said.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as Dr. Michael Domeier, a scientist who previously worked with Paul, had similar memories. He said, “[Paul] would call me in the middle of the night and say, ‘Hey, I want to quit acting. I want to go back to school. Can you help me?’”
