It's been almost five years since Paul Walker's heartbreaking death in November 2013. And now, the Fast and Furious actor will be memorialized in a new documentary titled I Am Paul Walker. Paramount Network and Network Entertainment are partnering to create a comprehensive look at the late star's never-before-seen life.

The team behind I Am Heath Ledger — which told the story of the late Heath Ledger's life — will write and produce the upcoming film about the movie star. People reports that the doc will include interviews with his co-stars and other people who were close to him. It will also highlight his involvement in philanthropic activities like helping rebuild Haiti after the island's devastating 2010 earthquake.

Paul tragically passed away in a car accident at age 40. The actor was in the middle of filming Furious 7 when he died — and left behind his daughter, Meadow.

"It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide," the statement read. "He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences."

Paramount Network has the rights to the documentary and according to People, additional details including the cast list and air date will be announced in the coming months. Fans are already anticipating the documentary. One fan tweeted, "Will probably be a sobbing mess watching this one. I hope they do a good job."
