According to a new report from the Associated Press, Sir Paul was caught exchanging songwriting tips with none other than Katy Perry backstage at The Graham Norton Show in London!

While “exchange” sounds mutual, we have to assume the “Roar” singer was getting tips from the vet; afterall, he is the one of the most decorated performers of all-time (we can’t begin to list his awards and accomplishments) and she broke out with her hit, “I Kissed a Girl.”

In the past, Katy—like many artists—has spoken about how the Beatles’ music has influenced her style.

“I got all the Beatles’ records, like the ‘white’ album, which was really important to me,” she told Interview magazine last year.
