Paris Hilton settled a $10 million defamation suit
with Zeta Graff, who charged Paris with spreading
"vicious lies" about her to the New York Post.
Graff alleged that Paris planted a story in the paper
stating that Zeta went "berserk" in a London club, tried
to strangle her and steal her diamond necklace. The trial,
which was due to begin Monday, was avoided by Paris paying
more than $2 million, according to a New York newspaper. Zeta's lawyer
stated, "Both parties are glad the matter could be
resolved without the time and expense of a trial."
