The heiress was on hand at the Ivy League institution to accept the Harvard Lampoon's Woman of the Year award. Of course, she was fashionably late, but that didn't deter her fans, who waited more than an hour in the rain to see Paris in person. And why was Paris picked for the honor? Lampoon member Hayes Davenport announced, "The choice was pretty easy when you think of who's had the most profound effect on our lives." Good-natured Paris joked back, "Thank you all for coming. An international icon meets countless people every day." Afterwards, she graciously signed autographs and posed for pictures. That's why she's at the head of the class!
