Everyone seems to be talking about Miley Cyrus VMA performance last night—but some people have good things to say! Like Taryn Manning, star of the Netflix original series Orange is the New Black.

 While Manning didn’t catch the performance herself, she explained at In Touch’s IDOLS & ICONS party that she still respects Miley’s individuality.

“On my new show Orange is the New Black I play this really religious character and one of my fans sent me a picture that said ‘Miley Cyrus needs Jesus,’" Taryn told In Touch. “Apparently her performance was quite risqué, which I'm a fan of. She's going all the way. I'm going all the way with my acting. Who am I to judge?”

Quite risqué may be an understatement when it comes to Miley’s teddy bear-themed, twerking-filled performance!
