The Kardashians are no strangers to the rumor mill — but it would appear that there isn’t a single rumor that has persisted quite like the one that theorizes that Khloé Kardashian’s real dad is O.J. Simpson. The rumor goes back since the beginning of the Kardashians’ time in the spotlight — as when most people met the Keeping Up With the Kardashians fam, their biggest claim to fame (other than Kim’s sex tape) was Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian Sr.’s close friendship with The Juice, with the latter coming out of retirement as an attorney to represent the disgraced football player during his 1994 murder trial.
In case the Kardashians/Simpsons’ close friendship wasn’t enough to make people think that Khloé isn’t “fully” related to her older sisters and her brother, the rumor only continued to swirl because the 33-year-old looks “different” than the rest of her siblings. Additionally, in 2013, Rob Sr.’s wife came forward and claimed that before his death in 2003, he confided in her that Khloé was not his biological daughter.
Last year, Khloé addressed her former stepmother’s claims on her defunct show, Kocktails With Khloé. She said, “I think the thing that most became overwhelming was when, like, the stuff happened with one of my dad’s wives. She wanted to come out, like, 10 years later after my dad passed away and said that I’m not his daughter and that he confided in her and blah-say-blah. I was like, ‘Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you f--king want. Do not talk about my dad.’ He’s not here!”
The subject of Khloé’s paternity was a storyline during the seventh season — during which, it was determined that she is the biological child of Rob Sr., as are her siblings Kim, Kourtney, and Rob Jr. Of course, even if the test came back with any other results — family is defined by a lot more than DNA, and there’s no doubt that Rob Kardashian is Khloé’s dad!
