Guess who’s coming to dinner?!
The New Normal is only in its first season, but the NBC sitcom’s loveable, hilarious characters have already stolen America’s hearts. And soon there will be even more quirky talent to adore!
Show creator Ryan Murphy, who’s also famous for producing American Horror Story and Glee, recently took to his Twitter account to share some big news about the sitcom’s upcoming guest stars.
“Proud to announce Nicole Richie and the legendary George Takei are joining The New Normal family,” Ryan tweeted.
The famous socialite and the Star Trek actor are said to be playing themselves on the show, leaving viewers wondering how these two stars will fit into the gay-couple-adopting-a-baby-from-a-surrogate-with-a-strange-daughter-and-phobic-grandmother mix.
But Nicole and George won't be the only fresh faces on the show!
“Guess who's coming on The New Normal as Bryan's sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!” Ryan tweeted this week of the White Collar actor who will also join the comedic brood.
This isn’t the star’s first tango with Mr. Murphy, though— Matt made a guest appearance on Glee last season, where he played the role of Cooper Anderson, Blaine’s older brother.
