Nate Solder, 27 — who plays offensive tackle for the New England Patriots — revealed on Monday during a charity event (for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation) that his four-month-old son, Hudson, is battling kidney cancer.

Nate decided to share the devastating news in hopes of bringing awareness to the issue.
Hudson is being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital after being diagnosed with a Wilms’ tumor last month. He is also undergoing chemotherapy.

The NFL star, who is currently on injured reserve after hurting his bicep, was treated for testicular cancer in 2014.
