It’s safe to say that Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have been officially over for quite some time now, so with Ashton getting serious with girlfriend and That 70’s Show co-star Mila Kunis, why haven’t Ashton and Demi filed for divorce yet? Though the pair has been split since November of last year, they have yet to officially end their marriage, which leaves many speculating whether or not their nuptials were even legitimate in the first place. Were Ashton and Demi ever really married? In Touch has uncovered a new document that points to yes. According to a Quitclaim deed pulled from the LA Recorder's office, Demi is listed as Ashton’s “spouse” and the Two and A Half Men star is referred to as a “married man,” which leads legal experts to believe the pair were, in fact, officially husband and wife. “There is no common law in California, so if they weren’t legally married there wouldn’t be a need to file this Quitclaim,” says LA family law attorney Goldie Schon. “They wouldn’t go through the trouble if he wasn’t a married man to record this.” So why the big hold up? An inside source exclusively tells In Touch that the divorce is stalled because they’re having trouble sorting out their finances and Demi is dragging her feet with it. “He wasn't pushing because of her mental state. I know he wants to be divorced, but it's not because he wants to rush into another marriage,” our insider explains. “He wants to be able to move on and not have a wife. There's nothing he can't do — he can have a baby and girlfriend if he is married."
