When the world changed on Sept. 11, 2001, the public vowed to never forget. And now, 12 years since tragedy struck downtown New York, stars are keeping good on their promise.
On the 12th anniversary of 9/11, celebrities took to Twitter to not only honor those lost on that autumn morning more than a decade ago, but also celebrate the country we have become since then.
While some stars—like Knicks star Carmelo Anthony, Kristin Davis of Sex and the City and New York City Real Housewife Ramona Singer—have personal connections to New York City, all these stars share the day’s feeling of sorrow with Americans everywhere.
