TLC’s slate of little-person reality programming just got bigger! The cable channel is raring to debut My Little Life, a new show that will premiere on April 3 at 10 p.m. ET, immediately following the return of Little People, Big World. Fans haven’t heard much about this six-episode, hour-long show… but here’s what we do know.

The show focuses on millennials

TLC says the series is “a deep dive into the world of five little people in their 20s and early 30s as they set out on a journey to live life to the fullest. In addition to overcoming their own personal challenges, each sets out to pursue their dreams and find love in a big world. In order to be independent, they must step out of their comfort zones and face a reality that is daunting for any young adult.”

The stars are facing challenges in their love lives

One of the show’s stars is having relationship drama with his girlfriend, as we see in TLC’s sneak peek of this season. “Do you know painful it is to compare myself to the other guys that I feel like you more want to be with?” he asks her. “Do you know how that makes me feel?”

Another star, Vince, seems apprehensive about breaking into the dating scene, despite the prodding of an older guy who must be his father. “When I talk to Vince about dating, I say, ‘If you just talk to ’em, you might break ground here,’ but he clams up,” the older man says.

But then we see Vince at a party, scoping out prospective matches. “There’s little people here,” he tells the cameras. “There’s little people that I like. There’s little people that I feel like I could have a future with.”

And in another clip, a little woman definitely relates when her average-sized friend — in a moment of self-unawareness — complains about kissing tall guys. “Tell me about it,” this little woman quips.

One woman appears to be considering motherhood

In another segment of the sneak peek, we see one of the stars cuddling a baby as her friends ask if she feels maternal instincts kicking in. But then we watch as this woman’s doctor gives her a demoralizing reality check, saying, “My very big concern here is, the lack of size may be an issue.” We’ll be rooting for her as we tune into My Little Life on April 3!
