Shortly after it was reported that MMA fighter War Machine attempted to commit suicide while behind bars, it has now been revealed he blamed his victim for everything in a suicide note.
War Machine is awaiting trial for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack who he beat beyond recognition in August.
TMZ has obtained a letter he sent to his friend shortly before his suicide attempt, calling it “shockingly delusional.”

In the letter, he attempts to justify the beating of not only Christy, but also her new man Corey Thomas (who he is also accused of attempting to kill that August night) citing their new relationship and her supposed infidelity as his justification.
“Finding what I found that night was devastating to me, more than you will ever know,” he allegedly wrote. “Not just the unfaithfulness, but the way [you] care for him and protected him.”
He elaborates these thoughts by saying he let her new man beat him up because he “believed she would have stopped the guy” and kicked Corey out.
And as if this wasn’t bad enough, he then turns to self-pity, as he apparently wants forgiveness from his victim!
“I still don’t understand how I got into this mess, I don’t know why this had to happen. My life was going so well,” he allegedly wrote. “I forgive you, please forgive me.”
