Just hours after Miley Cyrus revealed to fans she was hospitalized because of an allergic reaction, a new report alleges there may be another cause of her medical scare—a broken heart.

Sources tell TMZ the 21-year-old songstress has been “off the rails” since her dog, Floyd, passed away and the heavy partying landed her in the hospital.

Not only has she worn herself down by partying to cope with the loss, but the sources close to Miley claim she’s been “an emotional mess” and unable to sleep since she lost her pup.

The Alaskan Klee Kai was killed by a coyote on April 1, leaving Miley devastated. Shortly after his death, she tweeted it was “the second worst day of her life” and cancelled a concert appearance in Charlotte last minute, claiming she had come down with a virus.

Days after Floyd’s passing, Miley’s mother, Tish, gifted her with a new puppy Moonie, who she quickly rehomed.

“Moonie, thank you for giving me so much love, comfort & peace. It’s just too soon for me right now,” she tweeted.

Miley Cyrus has found herself hospitalized.

The controversial starlet, 21, has canceled her show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., tonight.

In a statement, the venue said the pop star suffered an allergic reaction to antibiotics, which landed her in a Kansas City-area hospital. She had been battling a sickness since last week.

"Kansas, I promise I'm as (heartbroken) as you are. I wanted so badly 2 be there 2 night. Not being with y'all makes me feel (worse) than I already do," she tweeted.

She also shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed, and responded to a fan who was sad about the news:

"trust me. I hate this. & I hate hospitals. & I hate needles. & I hate laying in a bed bored AF. & I hate feeling [s--t]," she wrote.

The press release did not say whether she would reschedule the show, but ticket holders will get a full refund.

This is the second show she's had to cancel during her Bangerz tour this year. The first time happened earlier this month following the death of her dog.
