The new issue of V Magazine for Fall 2014 has hit newsstands, and inside the pages of the fashion book Miley Cyrus is doing what Miley Cyrus does in every photo shoot she is ever involved in -- stripping naked.
Way to get creative all you creative directors.
The 21-year-old singer was photographed by the high king of fashion himself, Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, for the shoot, and while the idea behind the spread may be a bit overplayed at this point, the little spark plug is looking flawless, both facially and bodily.
One shot is just Miley going for it, her modesty kept barely intact thanks to two yellow dots added in post-production. The other shot though is far more thought provoking and fashion-y, featuring a naked Miley wearing a white fur coat and sneakers that have shinguards and kneepads.
The look very much calls to mind the iconic Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, had Splinter been an Upper East Side housewife.
The V cover is yet another instance of Miley winning at life this week. Since Sunday she has also managed to take home the night's big prize at the MTV Video Music Awards when her single "Wrecking Ball" won video of the year, and raise national awareness and money for homeless youth in America after having 22-year-old Oregon runaway Jesse Helt accept said award on her behalf and detail the struggles he faces while living on the streets.
Not winning this week, however, was Helt himself, who experienced more of those personal struggles when he was arrested on an outstanding warrant charge upon returning to Oregon on Miley's dime to reunite with his mother.
But hey, he did get to see Beyonce live at the VMAs!
The Fall 2014 issue of V will hit newsstands next week, with Miley rocking a more demure look on the cover -- a cutaway bathing suit. A neon blue cutaway bathing suit to be precise, made of fur, and designed by good old Karl himself.
Look for Lady Gaga to try and make this work in the coming months.
