Not paying your attorneys doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do, but Michael Jackson apparently has no qualms about it. Lavely & Singer of Los Angeles filed a lawsuit yesterday claiming that Michael stiffed them out of $113,750 in legal fees. This was part of a payment plan to help him pay off $180,000 in debt, but he hadn't paid the final installment by the deadline of July 31. Michael was also sued back in June over $109,995 that he owed a Delaware-based law firm and was ordered to pay more than $256,000 in legal fees last month to a firm that handled issues during his 2005 child molestation trial. That's a lot of ticked-off lawyers!
