Though Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice insists she would “definitely” quit the show if it caused harm to her loved ones, she’s ready to sign on for another season.
Now, her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga is speaking out, telling In Touch Teresa should consider leaving the hit show. “If reality TV is causing her family a lot of stress, then she should walk away,” Melissa, 33, tells In Touch. “But I don’t think she’s there yet.”
Teresa’s desire for the spotlight has already affected 11-year-old Gia, who admits she’s been teased at school because of her mom’s controversial actions on RHONJ. And Teresa and her brother Joe haven’t spoken since the Sept. 7 reunion taping. “Fame has ruined my family,” Teresa admits.
“If I start to feel pressure at home, you won’t see me on the show anymore,” Melissa tells In Touch at Mohegan Sun's "Not So Sweet 16" Party hosted by Scott Disick. “But I don’t think Teresa is ready to take that step.”
