Matt Baier to Star in ‘Being Matt’ MTV Special (REPORT)

If you were ever curious about Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood‘s fiancé, Matt Baier, have no fear — as a new report claims the controversial star will appear in his own MTV special.

The alleged show is called Being Matt and will focus on his relationship with his family members, and portray Matt in a different light from what we see on the popular reality series. While his son, Chris Baier, who appeared on Teen Mom OG will not be part of the special — we will get to meet his college-aged daughter and teenage son in addition to his cousin and two other friends.

“[Viewers will] see a different side of Matt, and they want to show that he’s ‘misunderstood’ or something,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, adding that this may be the first of many specials based on the supporting Teen Mom cast members.

It has also been suggested that several of his co-stars are not pleased the network decided to do a special on him.

When Matt first proposed to Amber during an episode of the series, many believed it was all for show. Fans quickly changed their tune when the mother-of-one began talking about her wedding plans — which she recently said all of the Teen Mom cast members will be invited to.

At one point in their relationship, her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Gary Shirley, found out that Matt has seven kids which he alleged Amber didn’t know about — to which she replied, “I’ve been with this man over a year, I think I know him.”

Others had their reservations because Matt hit on both Farrah Abraham and Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans before getting romantically involved with his now-fiancée.
