Mark Ruffalo Blames
Ben Affleck for
Standing in the Way of
His Relationship With
Ben Affleck, who will play the new Batman, just got thrown under the bus by The Hulk!
When asked about his friendship with Jennifer Garner on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Mark Ruffalo said he and his former co-star lost touch—and it was all because of Jennifer’s hubby!
"We had a great time together!" Ruffalo told Andy Cohen after a viewer asked the question. "I think we would [have stayed close], but then Ben came on the scene and that was the end of that."
Andy then asked, “I heard he doesn't allow her to have male friends?” in which Mark just shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't confirm nor deny the statement.
Mark and Jen became friendly during the 2004 romantic comedy 13 Going on 30. During that same year, Ben and Jen started dating and then got married in June 2005.
At this year's Oscars, Ben commented on his relationship with Jennifer during his acceptance speech saying, “I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It's good. It is work, but it’s the best kind of work.”
The star of Begin Again, on the other hand, has been married to actress Sunrise Coigney since June 2000.
