Just in time for the holidays — Mariah Carey has been slapped with a nasty lawsuit.
The 44-year-old singer is being sued by her former assistant, Ylser Oliver, for a "significant amount of money" after claiming she was forced to work rigorous hours, seven days a week without breaks.

“My client is a very hardworking woman who treated Mariah and her family like her own, working all hours of the day and night," Oliver's lawyer, Matthew Blit, said. "Mariah repaid her by underpaying her."
Court documents also claim Oliver was never fairly compensated for working overtime — and legally, the 49-year-old should've been paid time-and-a-half for working more than 40 hours per week.
"[Carey] should have been aware that . . . the practices were unlawful,” Blit continued. "Even celebrities are required to abide by the law.”
According to documents, the assistant's duties included answering phones, food shopping, cleaning and other "personal needs."
