Ouch! It seems that Mandy Moore got in to an unexpected fight… with a shower door handle! The encounter left her with a black eye — and she even needed stitches.

The 33-year-old actress went to Instagram to try to get advice from her 1.4 million followers. “Real talk: How does a girl get rid of a black eye pronto? Any helpful hints (minus Ice and arnica??),” she wrote. “Thanks @stokerplasticsurgery for coming in at 9 p.m. to sew me up!! It’s not yet known if her new injury will affect the shooting schedule for This Is Us as they have been filming recently. While the world has been eagerly waiting for the return of the hit NBC show, it seems playing the role of Rebecca Pearson has Mandy focusing on her old passion — music!

In an interview with People.com the pop singer-turned-actress reveals that we can expect new music from her in 2018. “I want to return to music,” said Mandy. “I don’t have a record label, but I have a lot of music written. Next year, I’ve decided I’m putting it out there!”

All we know is that we have been missing her like candy, since the 2000s —and one of the perks of the watching This is Us is having her perform. Needless to say we can’t wait to hear the type of music she will produce next. Feel better, Mandy!
