Mariah Carey has a reputation of being a bit of a diva — and it turns out, she’s really earned that title… by being an extremely high-maintenance diva!
Apparently, it costs nearly $85,000 to make Mimi look beautiful for a photo shoot.
So claims a photographer who lists this information in his lawsuit against the Elusive Chanteuse. The photog is suing the songstress' record label, claiming he was hired to do a shoot for the mother-of-two’s album cover only to have it cancelled without explanation.

In the legal docs filed by the cameraman, he lays out the costs of getting Mariah ready for her close-up — which includes a stylist ($65,391), a hair stylist ($9,600), a makeup artist ($7,200) and a manicurist ($2,400).
The photographer is suing for his fee — which is about $150,000. According to TMZ, the record label says they never fully agreed on the terms of the contract — and therefore, there’s no breach and they’re not obligated to pay the fee.
