Madonna is prepared — to stand up to the Boy Scouts!

The singer hit the stage at the GLAAD Media Awards in NYC on March 16 in a full Boy Scout uniform, complete with a hat and army-green shorts.

"I wanted to be a Boy Scout, but they wouldn't let me," the singer shared, referencing the organization's recent ban on gays.

"I was a Girl Scout, but I got kicked out," she continued at the Ketel Onesponsored event. "You want to know why? Because my skirt was too short, and I never sold enough cookies. I ate the cookies."

The singer continued with her speech promoting freedom for the LGBT community, and awarded Anderson Cooper with the top honor of the night.

"You are brave," she told the journalist. "And the world needs more people like you. I think you and me need to start a revolution together."

The always-outrageous star finished her speech by planting a smooch on the television personality, who responded, "That’s a first…kissing a woman, that is!"
