These days, Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie Standifer is juggling a lot of responsibility. She has a preschool-aged son, a husband who may still have a drug problem, and child support payments to worry about. Some fans are wondering if it’s all just too much for her.

Here’s the situation: Mackenzie is married to Ryan Edwards, ex-boyfriend of Teen Mom mainstay Maci Bookout. But until recently, she was married to a guy named Zachary Stephens. They welcomed son Hudson, who’s now around 4 years old, then divorced in July 2016.

In November of that year, Mackenzie and Zachary went to court, and he was ordered to pay his former wife $503 per month in child support, according to Radar Online. But in June 2017, the Hamilton County Circuit Court reversed the child support arrangement, ordering Mackenzie to pay Zachary $245 per month.

Why the change? It could be a sign that Zachary now has custody of Hudson, which may be due to the fact that Mackenzie is living with Ryan, who recently went to rehab. “He said that he was using three times a day,” Mackenzie told a producer in a recent episode of Teen Mom OG. “Ten thousand dollars a week.”

For the record, Maci is worried about her ex’s well-being, too. “I’m going to be like, you have to go to rehab,” she told husband Taylor McKinney of her baby daddy on a June episode of the MTV reality show. “Right now it’s about saving his life. Most nights I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day he’s going to die.”

Still, Ryan’s issues notwithstanding, Mackenzie insists she’s the primary caretaker in Hudson’s life. Last summer, she told her Instagram followers that she has “full custody” of her little boy. Is she telling the truth? We’ll find out at some point, we imagine…
