After remaining silent on social media following the birth of son Broncs, Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee has shared an update on her son's condition.

The reality star gave birth last Monday, but little Broncs has since been in the NICU following various health complications. She returned to Instagram Sunday, and shared a message to followers.

In a photo of her, husband Josh McKee and baby Broncs, the star began, "On Monday, I was told to get the the hospital ASAP and not knowing anything I was prepped for surgery, taken back, and the c-section was done in 45 minutes after arriving."

"At 6:00 pm I had Broncs Weston McKee who was 20 inches and 10 pounds 1 ounce born at 36 weeks," she continued. "He was rushed to NICU and I didn't hear a word about how he was for 5 hours. I had to wait four days to hold him so I haven't posted much."

Amid the infants health complications, which include crowded lungs and a blood infection, Mackenzie insisted little Broncs is a fighter, and thanked followers for their immeasurable support.
