She has sources! Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout’s baby daddy Ryan Edwards could not have chosen a worse time to announce that his wife Mackenzie Standifer is pregnant — just hours before Ryan was arrested for violating his probation on drug-related charges. It didn’t take long for the news about Mackenzie’s pregnancy to get back to Maci, and she has a very good reason to believe that the new dad-to-be is not clean or sober after his short rehab stint.

In a sneak peek for the upcoming episode of Teen Mom OG, Maci and her mom went out for lunch where Maci broke the news to her mom about Ryan and Mackenzie’s pregnancy. Just like nearly everyone else, Maci and her mom didn’t think it was a good time for Ryan to be welcoming another child into the world since he is still struggling with his heroin addiction. But Maci’s mom pointed out that a new baby might be what Ryan needs to movtivate himself to get clean.

“Maybe, maybe not,” Maci said. “I feel like if this don’t do the trick then absolutely nothing will.”

Last year, Ryan went to rehab for a heroin addiction but since he left before he completed the 30-day program, it seemed like it was not enough time to kick the habit. After he returned home from rehab, Maci refused to let Ryan visit with their nine-year-old son Bentley until he passed a hair follicle drug test. Ryan has yet to take the drug test, and Maci’s mom pointed out that it wasn’t a good sign.

“My people know people,” Maci said. “I mean, he’s not clean. He’s not. That’s just it. He’s not.”

After news about Ryan’s arrest broke last month, Maci immediately took action to protect herself and her family from Ryan. A judge granted Maci a temporary restraining order against Ryan, and it currently stands until May which is when their next hearing will take place. Watch the video below to see how Maci slammed Ryan over his drug use.
