‘TMZ’ claims the thief called the site, alleging he took two of the pearls off the Calvin Klein dress — estimated to be worth $150,000 — down to the Garment District in LA, where a jeweler determined them to be counterfeit!
And despite the hefty price tag, and claims by her stylist that the dress was made with authentic pearls, a source close to Women’s Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa, tells ‘TMZ’ there’s no reason to be surprised — the design house never claimed the pearls were real!

The source asked, “Did anyone ever say they were real from Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess not.”

Trust us on this one.
