Our thoughts are with Love & Hip Hop: New York stars Remy Ma and Papoose in the wake of this tragedy, as she revealed that she suffered a miscarriage.

The couple, who wed in 2008, was thrilled to celebrate their pregnancy news on Monday night’s episode of the VH1 series, but then Remy Ma found out that she was having an ectopic pregnancy. To make matters worse, the doctor informed her that she wouldn’t be able to have anymore pregnancies naturally.

She further opened up about how she felt during a confessional.

“I promised my husband that I would give him the child that he’s been asking me for since almost the day he met me and I can’t do that any more,” she said.

Her rapper husband was nothing but supportive during her time of need.

“I have to be the rock for her. We’re gonna get through it, we’ve just got to take it one day at a time. Regardless of what we have to do, we’re gonna get through it together,” he explained.

Remy Ma also shared this video for fans on her Instagram account.

“This was a hard time for me and my husband and we thought long and hard before deciding to share this part of our lives with you all.
I was totally against it but in a fit of crying @papoosepapoose said, ‘You are not the only one going through this, we will get through it.’ It made me realize how many women like myself experience the same thing and don’t have a strong partner by their side to say it will be alright,” she wrote.

Love & Hip Hop: New York airs on Monday nights on VH1.
