Lindsay Lohan may have bombed in Liz & Dick, but the actress is certainly finding success in her new role as a “Band Aid” for boy band The Wanted.
Of course, by “Band Aid” we’re referring to a moniker dubbed by Kate Hudson in the flick Almost Famous, where she offers an alternative term for a “groupie.”
"We are not groupies,” Kate’s character Penny says. “Groupies sleep with rockstars because they want to be near someone famous. We are here because of the music, we inspire the music. We are Band Aids." And apparently Lindsay is just that.
In the wake of an arrest and being charged with three new crimes related to a June car accident, Lindsay Lohan has been letting off some much-needed steam— by touring with The Wanted.
NEWS: Barbara Walters Talks Lindsay Arrest
Despite the fact that Lindsay is in some of the biggest legal trouble of her life, which could result in jail time, she headed to Philadelphia’s Jingle Ball concert on Wednesday, where she was seeing hanging out backstage with the "Glad You Came" singers.
Oh, but that’s not all!
After schmoozing with the band members, most notably Max George, Lindsay hopped on the boys’ tour bus and headed to Boston with them for their next show.
The band members themselves have made it clear that they're Team Lindsay, as Jay McGuiness sported a "Free Lindsay" t-shirt when they took the stage opening for Justin Bieber only days after the incident.
Perhaps there’s a romance brewing between Lindsay and Max, who were also seen partying together on the night of Lindsay’s altercation and arrest? Only time will tell.
