Life After Reality TV:
Jon Gosselin Waits
Tables in Pennsylvania
Not too long ago, Jon Gosselin was happily married, living with his eight young children and starring in the top reality program
These days, Jon is living in an isolated cabin without Internet or TV and is earning his living as a server in a Penn.
Jon invited Entertainment Tonight a glimpse into his reformed lifestyle.
First, he clarified that his change of careers isn’t a sign that he’s struggling to make ends meet—because he’s not.
“They said it because I’m waiting tables,” he told ET’s Brooke Anderson. “Which is really disgusting to think that because you wait tables, or because you have different things or don’t have an 8 to 5 job, you’re struggling to make ends meet.”
But Jon explained that it is “next to near impossible” for him to find work; but despite initial hesitation, he’s excited about his new job.
“At first I was nervous because I was like, ‘How are people going to react,’” he explained. “But then I’m thinking, ‘Well it’s fun and I get to talk to people.’
Jon added that he currently lives in an isolated cabin where he doesn’t have TV or Internet. But still, he insists that this isn’t rock bottom—and that he doesn’t regret Jon and Kate Plus 8 in the first place.
“I don’t regret anything, because you learn from your mistakes,” he said. “And that’s what makes you who you are today.
