Who’s Hosting?

This year’s ceremony will be hosted by the one and only Jimmy Fallon! He’ll also be getting help from this year’s three Miss Golden Globes, Sylvester Stallone’s daughters, Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

Where to Watch?

The award show will be playing live on NBC with arrivals starting at 7 p.m. EST. Not in front of a TV? No problem! You’ll be able to stream the program on the NBC app and NBC.com and watch the show in real time!

Who’s Being Honored?

One of the show’s biggest awards is the Cecil B. DeMille Award, presented annually to one person for “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.” This year’s honoree is none other than Meryl Streep, who has won eight Golden Globes in her lifetime.

In a statement about the honor, Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Lorenzo Soria said Meryl’s “enthralling body of work across a diverse set of genres has made her a role model over the past 40 years,” adding that she’s a “trailblazer” who has “paved the way for women in television, film, and stage.”

Recent honorees of this award include Denzel Washington, Woody Allen, and +George Clooney.

What Do The Stars Eat at the Golden Globes?

One of the things that makes the Golden Globes so fun is the casual atmosphere! The show is more like a sit-down dinner than a formal event. So what will the stars be eating? The stars will be treated to something sweet — as Lindt is the official chocolate confectionery for the show and Moët and Chandon will provide the bubbly! The menu will be prepared by The Beverly Hilton’s head chef, Alberico Nunziata, who offered a sneak peak at the meal!
