Leah Remini may have left the Church of Scientology - but she's not done yet! Sources say that the King of Queens actress is busy working on a tell-all about her experiences as a member of the controversial religion.

Leah Remini Speaks Out After Leaving Scientology: "I'm Not About to Shut Up"

43-year-old Leah confirmed the news herself, saying that she was now challenging a lot of what she'd been told while in the Church. One of the reasons for Leah's departure was a reported incident at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding when Leah asked Scientology head David Miscavige why his wife Shelly wasn't with him. The seemingly innocent question got Leah in trouble in the church, and she was subject to hours of interrogations about her intentions. Later, Leah learned that Shelly had disappeared.

"I believe people should be able to question things," Leah said in an interview earlier this week. "And I believe you should value family and friendships and hold those close."

And it isn't just Leah who broke ties with Scientology: her sister Nicole Remini and the rest of the family are also no longer church members. One of Leah's early supporters was Oscar-winning director Paul Haggis, who announced that he was leaving the church in a New Yorker article several years ago. According to insiders, Leah's refusal to follow Scientology orders and 'disconnect' from Paul was another source of conflict.
