Leah Messer was devastated back in October when Corey Simms was granted primary custody of their twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, 6 — but the Teen Mom 2 star allegedly has big plans to win it back from her ex-husband, now that she reportedly has a court date to go up against her ex.

“Leah is thrilled she got a court date,” a source tells Radar, adding it will be sometime next month. “She’s been waiting for this opportunity for months.”

Radar’s source also notes, “Leah thinks she has a good chance to get her daughters back. She’s optimistic.”

However, the 23-year-old does have something to be excited about for now — as she reportedly scored a HUGE win against Corey when it comes to back child support.

“He had to pay $6,000 in back-pay. The court just awarded her the $6,000,” a second source tells the outlet. “Leah is happy about it, [but] she doesn’t think it’s enough. They have two kids together. She still gets them all the time, so he still has to pay child support. It’s built into their agreement.”

We hope these two can work things out, especially for their twins!
