Just when we thought she would receive treatment for her depression and anxiety — Leah Messer had a major set back!
The Teen Mom 2 star skipped out on her first attempt at rehab after she received news from her mother that she might lose custody of her 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah — her lawyer also suggested that she solidify a custody agreement with ex-husband, Corey Simms.

The 23-year-old’s ex did not hesitate to give Leah back her kids and even offered his support.
“We want what’s best for them. And you getting better is what’s best for them," he said.

Leah ended up not losing custody of her children, and tried rehab for the second time nearly two weeks after her first attempt.
“She’s being treated for depression and stress. She’s always put other people’s needs ahead of her own, and her mental health suffered because of it,” In Touch exclusively learned.
Leah also has a two-year-old daughter, Adalynn, with her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert.
Hopefully the young mom is on the road to recovery, especially for her kids.
