There’s no denying 2015 was hard on Leah Messer.
Not only did the Teen Mom 2 star check into rehab, but she also finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
But it looks like 2016 is shaping up to be her year — as she already has some good news!
According to a family insider close to her first husband, Corey Simms, their daughter Ali is walking — despite doctor’s concerns about her mobility.

“Ali has her wheelchair available, but she only uses it for long distances,” the insider tells Radar. “She’s usually on her feet.”
As In Touch first revealed back in January 2014, the six-year-old has a rare and incurable form of muscular dystrophy.
“We were scared because we didn’t know what her future was going to look like, but we always pushed for answers. We never gave up, and we never will,” Leah told In Touch at the time. “We’ll do everything we can to make sure Ali has the life that she needs… The bigger she gets and the more weight she gains, the harder it’ll be for muscles to carry the weight.”
According to the insider, Ali’s twin sister, Gracie, is always there to offer support.
“Gracie understands what’s going on, but she doesn’t talk about it or treat her sister any differently,” the source explains.
