While Lea Michele has been coping with the sudden death of boyfriend and Glee co-star, Cory Monteith, 31, the multihyphenate star is finding comfort in her first love — singing.
Last night, the actress shared on Twitter that she picked a “beautiful & perfect song" to kick off the fifth season. Because Glee records songs before using them in episodes, it's likely that this song will be included in the episode where Cory's character, Finn, is killed off.

An episode this season will be dedicated as a tribute to the late actor and will focus on dealing with drug addiction.
Fox Chairman Kevin Reilly stated that "The third episode [of this season of Glee] will deal with the Finn Hudson character [played by Cory] being written out of the show...That episode will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory’s passing and the drug abuse in particular." Several of the show's actors will also reportedly film PSAs about addiction to air following the episode. The cast and crew recently held a private memorial service for Cory in LA.

Cory, who struggled with addiction since his teen years, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13. The cause of death was ruled to be a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol. Cory had recently completed a stint in rehab, with Lea being his number-one supporter.
Lea has thanked fans for their support during the difficult time. She recently tweeted, “Cory will forever be in my heart.”
