Lea Michele has finally addressed the rumors of her being a diva—and revealed how she’s over fighting back.
“'I am a very outspoken person, and if something makes me uncomfortable, you will know that it makes me uncomfortable,” the actress said. “But that's as far as it goes.”
The 27-year-old actress has been part of the hit show Glee ever since it premiered in 2009. Playing the talented vocalist Rachel Berry, Michele has been rumored to display diva-like qualities on set.
“I can assure that [diva rumors] aren't real,” Michele added in UK's We Love Pop magazine (via Contactmusic).
“It's super frustrating sometimes, and I used to fight back, but now I feel like, 'You can think what you want to think about me–that’s OK.''
"Start the day right! Fresh air, green juice and a hike!" she tweeted about her usual daily routine that helps minimize stress.
Various sources have talked to news outlets about how she truly acts when the cameras turn off.
"They (the cast) can deal with her in small doses, but sometimes she's too much to handle," a source told The Daily News. "She acts like she's the only star on the show and it has become an uncomfortable situation when she gives attitude to the people around her."
Being that the 100th episode of Glee airs in March, it seems that the cast and crew have been able to put up with her for quite some time.
She even spent Valentine’s Day with her best friend Chris Colfer—but of course, they were on set filming new episodes.
"On the #Glee set with my valentine @chriscolfer :) #KurtandRachel #BFF," Michele tweeted.
