After her boyfriend, Cory Monteith, tragically died this past summer, Lea Michele was met with a over pouring of support from her friends, family and fans; but in a new interview with Extra, she is thanking one very special person—her Glee costar and Dancing With the Stars champ Amber Riley!
“I’ve got to give a shout out to Miss Amber Riley, Dancing With the Stars winner… she’s the best,” Lea told Extra. “I love her son much, so proud of her … she’s been there for me so much through everything.”

In the time since Cory unexpectedly passed, the 27-year-old starlet has expressed her extreme gratitude towards her Glee costars for their support during the difficult time; in November, she told Elle that Kate Hudson invited Lea to stay at her home when Lea’s house was “swarmed with reporters.”

After going through such a tragedy, holidays can be especially difficult; Lea revealed to Extra that she’ll spend her first Christmas without Cory with her mom and dad.
“We’re just going to do something with the three of us and spend time,” she said. “I have the most incredible family, my dear friends are always there for me. They’re wonderful. I’m so thankful for them.”
