Lauren Swanson’s Easter Dress Is Seriously Stunning — and Ultra-Modern for the Conservative Duggars!
So pretty! Josiah Duggar‘s fiancée, Lauren Swanson, seriously stunned in a floor-length floral gown over the weekend — and fans couldn’t get over her look! The Counting On star took to Instagram to share the sweet snap of his leading lady, and TBH, we’re surprised how modern it is! Watch the video above to see the gorgeous pic.
Although the Duggars have been expanding their wardrobe these days by adding pants, sneakers, and gasp! even ripped jeans, they weren’t always so liberal. Previously, Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger explained their strict dress code in their book, Growing Up Duggar, writing, “We avoid low-cut, cleavage-showing, gaping, or bare-shouldered tops; and when needed, we wear an undershirt. We try to make it a habit to always cover the top of our shirt with our hand when we bend over. We don’t want to play the peek-a-boo game with our neckline.” Oh, how times have changed!
Josiah and Lauren — who only announced their courtship in January and announced their engagement in March — may be heading down the aisle in just a few short months. Although they haven’t revealed a date for their nuptials, we have reason to believe we’re only a few months away from the special day. Here’s our logic: Joseph Duggar wed Kendra Caldwell just three and a half months after the fam announced those lovebirds’ engagement. Jinger Duggar tied the knot with Jeremy Vuolo only three months after he got down on one knee. And Joy-Anna Duggar said “I do” to Austin Forsyth not even three months after saying “I will.” And by the looks of it, Lauren will look gorgeous in a white gown!
