Khloé Kardashian is finally speaking out on Lamar Odom’s condition.
And shortly after the reality star, 31, told Extra’s Terri Seymour the 36-year-old has a “long, long time” in the hospital ahead of him, a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life that his prognosis remains bleak.

“Lamar is doing okay, but by no means is he back to his old self. Standing and walking for long periods of time is a struggle,” the source explains.
“So is talking to some extent and his memory has been affected. To be honest, he may never fully recover.”

The unsettling update comes shortly after Khloé told Extra that their primary focus will be on the former NBA champ regaining his mobility.
“He will try to learn how to walk, so that is first,” the reality star said. “When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own, or at least with assistance, with like a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening.”
