Despite sitting out last week’s competition with a bad back, Steve-O will return to the dance floor on next Monday’s show, according to his partner, Lacey Schwimmer. “There’s no surgery, no broken bones. It’s still a little swollen, but it should go down within 48 hours,” the brunette beauty told In Touch about one of the daredevil dancer’s injuries – which include a back injury and a hematoma - at the What Comes Around Goes Around store opening on March 18 in Hollywood. With the Jackass star on track for a comeback, the couple is ready to rumba on next week’s show. “It’s going to be very soft and relaxed, more about our chemistry,” the dancing queen hinted about the couple’s fox-trot number.
With fellow contestants Gilles Marini and Steve Wozniak also suffering from injuries, and Jewel and Nancy O’Dell dropping out of the competition before its start due to physical complications, Lacey has her own philosophy about why all the celeb dancers are down on their luck. “I think that each season the celebrities get better at dancing, and the level gets higher and higher, and the people expect more and more. They’re pushing themselves so hard to do
so well, it’s tough!” she added.
