It's a battle of the Kylies!
Several months after Kylie Jenner, 18, attempted to trademark her moniker in the USA for advertising purposes — the 47-year-old musician Kylie Minogue filed a notice of opposition to the reality star's request.

According to court docs, Minogue feels that Jenner is a “secondary reality television personality who has received criticism from disability rights groups and African American communities."
KDB — a business representing the singer — also notes Minogue owns trademarks for “Kylie Minogue Darling,” “Lucky — The Kylie Minogue Musical” and “Kylie Minogue.” She has also owned Kylie.com since the late 1990s.
Minogue and company feel approval of Jenner's application will cause confusion and dilute the brands, but the makeup mogul doesn't seem to be backing down — just last week she applied to have "Kylie" trademarked for entertainment services.
Tyga's girlfriend has yet to address the incident, though the newly engaged Minogue cryptically tweeted on Sunday, "Hello — my name is KYLIE. #lightyears."
