Kris Jenner has never been shy about her desire to help her son, Rob Kardashian, get his life back on track.
But her desperation may have hit a new low. A new report claims the momager tricked the 28-year-old into going to rehab last year.

“Kris took Rob to a facility in Malibu last year at night for a tour,” a source close to the famous clan tells 'Radar Online.'
“She did it at night so the press wouldn’t know about it. She assured him that there was no pressure to enroll, but Rob felt ambushed and got very angry.”

Not only has Rob’s weight reached unhealthy levels, but he’s also been battling depression and one insider recently claimed he’s addicted to crystal meth.
On an episode of ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ that aired earlier this month, the momager, 59, even expressed her desire to stage an intervention, saying, “I feel like if I don’t help him do something drastic he’s gonna die.”

After Kris “ambushed” him at the treatment facility, he had a friend pick him up and he then disappeared for days — only to resurface at Khloé’s house (where he’s been living).
But even his sister is clashing with him and hoping he gets the assistance he needs.
The source explains, “Khloé wants Rob to go to Betty Ford because of the stellar reputation of the facility. She knows Rob can’t be forced to go, so until that time, all she can do is support him.”

And supporting him is more than many of his other siblings are doing.
Kim went on the ‘Today’ show earlier this week and spoke publicly about Rob’s struggle — despite his continual efforts to stay out of the spotlight.
“I think he’s just going through a phase where he’s not comfortable in his own skin,” she said on April 27. “And he is working really hard to get back to where he wants to be.”
