Hamptons Waiters By
Looks like there is such a thing as a free lunch after all… if you’re Kourtney Kardashian!
Shortly after reports surfaced claiming the Southampton community was upset to learn the pregnant reality star and Khloé Kardashian—and their accompanying camera crew—would be taking residence in their lavish beach town, it’s been claimed the eldest Kardashian sister has upset a local wait staff after she failed to leave a tip on a comped meal at The Driver’s Seat.
“Local servers are hard-working people who support their families and live on tips,” one waitress tells Page Six.
A rep for the 35-year-old, who recently revealed she and partner Scott Disick are expecting their third child, claims she was never expected to personally leave a tip and adds the workers were taken care of.
“The meal was comped and production left a generous tip,” the rep says.
Additional complaints came Friday, June 6, when Kourtney dined at the Southampton Social Club and upset other patrons by requesting they sign a consent form to be filmed for Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.
Although the rep insists everyone was happy to sign the form.
Despite all this, momager Kris Jenner has denied claims that the reality stars—who will be living in a $13.9 million waterfront home while filming—weren’t welcome in the upscale community.
“They love us there,” she gushed on the TODAY show. “Contrary to popular belief, everyone is really excited that they’re there.”
