Kim Kardashian is no stranger to the spotlight, but don’t expect her to film the birth of her first baby for Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

"I don't even think I'll have a camcorder,” Kim told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show during a March 28 guest appearance. “I don't even know if I would want that as a memory."

While Kim’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, documented her pregnancy and delivery with now 8-month-old Penelope for their E! series, first-time-mom Kim is not so keen on having the cameras all up in her business.

In fact, Kim’s admitted that her boyfriend, Kanye West, has been encouraging her to keep her private life just that— private.

“My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy,” the E! star recently told DuJuor Magazine. “I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.”

Kim wasn’t afraid to strip down for an intimate photo shoot with her beau shortly after professing her newfound views on privacy, so it is possible the 6-months-pregnant star will decide to document her child’s birth afterall.

So is Kim absolutely certain she doesn’t want to film the birth?

"There's always a chance,” she admits. “I don't know. I might change my mind."
