Kim Kardashian didn't think she'd be able to bounce back after filing for divorce from Kris Humphries just 72 days after they married back in 2012.
Fortunately for her, she was wrong. But the star recently opened up about that time in her life, admitting she believed her career "was over" because of all the backlash.

"When I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, 'You guys, I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money. And now we'll just continue to do our clothing stores and what we started off doing before the show. I totally thought it was over," the 34-year-old said in an interview with Sir Martin Sorrell for The Drum.
The brunette beauty admits she was fearful about what to do next, so she took some time off, which turned out to be the best thing to do.

"The time was really good for me," she said. "I cancelled everything. I had a book tour, I had a fragrance launch, I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me."

And as it turns out, when it comes to marriage, third time seems to have been the charm for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star. (Prior to her marriage to Kris, she was married to producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003.)
She's been married to Kanye West since May 2014. And the pair, who are parents to two-year-old daughter North West, are expecting their second child -- due in December. Oh, and not to mention, she's worth a reported cool $85 million. Not too shabby, Kimmy!
