After a brief stint in the hospital, Kris Jenner spent Thursday, April 17, preparing Easter treats for her grandchildren, North West and Penelope and Mason Disick, but we suspect there was one person who didn’t indulge in any of the spring-themed snacks—Kim Kardashian.
With her wedding date quickly approaching, new reports claim Kim has entered “extreme diet mode” in an effort to drop the final pounds before fitting into her dress.
Even though she has already shed more than 50 pounds, it’s the final five pounds that have her eliminating almost everything in her rigid diet, relying on lean protein and green vegetables “because they have more fiber.”
“Her assistant has a bag of celery sticks with her at all times,” a source says, revealing her secret to avoid temptation.

Kim also stays away from all liquids that aren’t water.
“She doesn’t really drink, but she likes a glass of red wine with dinner and coffee in the morning but her Atkins mania won’t allow her those anymore,” the source tells [OK!]http://okmagazine.com/live-big/star-bodies/kim-kardashian-weight-loss-secrets-find-out-what-kim-eats-on-her-strict-wedding-diet/). “She won’t even have a sip.”

Nori’s mom has been a vocal advocate for the Atkins Diet, which helped her get back into shape after giving birth last June.
However, sources have told In Touch Kim is “desperate to be a size-0 bride” and has taken her diet and exercise regimen too far.
“Kim wants to be thinner than her pre-baby body and is willing to do anything to get there,” a friend told the mag in January. “[She’s] counting the calories in everything and living on grilled fish, chicken and steamed vegetables.
“She’s admitted she’s barely eaten a carb for nearly four months.”
When she’s not dieting, she’s working out, as BFF Jonathan Cheban explained in January, she was working out three hours a day.
“She works out at 5 a.m.,” her pal revealed in January.
Kim is rumored to become Mrs. Kanye West Memorial Day weekend—so hopefully the extreme dieting may soon be something of the past.
