Kim Kardashian Needs a New Assistant (Kim, Consider This My Formal Application)
If you had the chance to shadow a wildly successful business woman — who has masterfully dabbled in the world of television, fashion, music, beauty, and tech — you probably wouldn’t let that opportunity slip by, right?
Well then, we have some good news — Kim Kardashian West is in need of a new assistant.

Her current assistant, Stephanie Shepherd — aka Steph Shep — recently revealed in a new Refinery29 profile that she’s been promoted to COO of Kardashian West Brands (congrats, Steph), which we assume means Kim is in desperate need of a new executive assistant — in addition to her personal assistant, a house assistant, two nannies, and Steph.
So what does being Kim’s executive assistant entail?!
She said she is in communication with Kim from the moment she wakes up, and stays in constant contact until around 10 p.m.; she does pretty much everything — from bounce ideas for new Kimojis, to schedule her travel itinerary.
And if you’re in the market for the job, Steph has some pretty good advice.

“I’ve f–ked up a lot. I’m only human. I get a lot of young girls asking me how to be a great assistant. I tell them three things,” Steph explained. “One is if you mess up, take responsibility and own it. I’ve f—ked up, I’m human. But I will say, ‘I am so sorry, and I will fix this.’ Second, I say be resourceful. If your boss wants or needs something, you gotta do whatever it takes to make it happen… Lastly, I saw take notes. Write. Sh-t. Down. Even if you think you’re gonna remember it in your head, you’re not. We have interns through Jenner communications, and every time I see an intern not taking notes when they’re getting instructions, I’m like, ‘You’re gonna f–k this up.’ Just write it down — it’s not that hard!”
As you can imagine, there are plenty of perks that go along with hanging with Kardashian/Jenner crew — Steph works out with Khloé, gets her makeup touched up by Mario Dedivanovic, parties with Kendall and Kylie… All while building a career.

“I think when you’re assistant, everyone wants to know that, like, ‘What the heck are you gonna do after this?’ And I’m just like, what do you _? And then that starts to put the pressure on me and makes me freak out a little and [I] start to wonder, _where is this going? Oh God, how will I ever leave this family?” she rationalized.
“But I’ve realized that I just need to utilize this position and lear as much from all of these experiences and grow as much as I can. Honestly, I’m just going to see where it takes me. I’m learning. I’m helping Kim Kardashian run her empire. I’m also building something for myself. I think that’s pretty a f–king great gig.”
